Hear how to pronounce my name here.
I work at the Imperial War Museums as Assistant Director for Exhibitions, Interpretation and Design.
I’m responsible for exhibitions and design across IWM including HMS Belfast, IWM Duxford, IWM North near Manchester, the Churchill War Rooms and IWM London.
My job is to make sure the stories we tell connect strongly, and help make our visitors think about conflict and its causes and consequences. I’m passionate about museums as places to bring people together, places to have fun, to learn and to talk, places to remember and to look forward, places that should feel accessible and inclusive, and ultimately as places that can change peoples’ lives.
When I was younger I studied Genetics, not the most useful thing perhaps, but it fed my curiosity in science and in understanding the world and our place in it.
I grew up in Hampshire and now live in London with my two children. We love to get out to the countryside in our unreliable camper van and also to build epic things out of Lego.
