I Am Sad Not To See My Family - Maya, 13, London
It making me appreciate everything I've got access to in my life, my house, garden, food, drink, my school.
They [school] are being great and sending work for me but also being lenient and not expecting me to get all of it done but they allow you to do as much as you can and fill you day as much as you can.
I didn't realise how much I love and appreciate going to Cyprus until I realised that I probably won't be able to go this year and I am sad not to see my family.
I am really sad that I can't see my grandparents at the moment because I love them so much and it's scary that they are the most vulnerable and I don't even get to see them during this time.
Because of the age I am it is really difficult to not see my friends. As much as I love my family it's important to be with my friends and I can't be at the moment.
I am missing out on hours of dancing and that makes me feel weaker and disappointed that I missed out on the CAT intensive and some performances that I was really looking forward to.
